You may know that Eldar over at Mobile-Review has been lucky enough to be one of the first to experience the Nokia N96 (and his thoughts/review has just been posted in English for us all to read!)
He seems generally impressed with device on the whole, but it is impossible to tell what things such as build quality will be like until a production unit becomes available.
It is easy just to go out to buy an external GPS receiver for your smartphone, but it is no good if it is difficult for you to set up everytime you want to go on a journey and a pain to use.
I put the LD-4W to the test for a few different routes at different times to see how easy it would be for somebody to use every day…
That’s right! As you can see, this N95 has survived being submerged in water and is fully functional! (Well, is still plays music and the screen looks ok!)
I don’t know whether this is a modified N95 or not – the videos description is ‘Nokia N95 Water Edition Cebit 2008‘ but it is not advised to submerge your N95 in water!!!
I will take no responsibility for you doing this (if you decide to and it doesn’t work!) 😉
